Twenty-four measures changed from committee to engrossed. Ten received a new floor, concurrence, amendment, or hold action without a stage change.
All 63 tracked California measures were matched against California Legislative Counsel's official nightly files through August 26. Twenty-two records changed after the August 20 cutoff. Seven changed stage, fifteen received a new action, and AB 1651 became law. The catalogue remains at 1,738 records.
The Global Radar now contains 536 official-source records across 27 jurisdictions. This release adds Ireland's 2026 AI implementation Act, Poland's 2026 AI Systems Act, and Poland's proposed AI Development Policy to 2030. It also adds a current country baseline and interactive map coverage for each jurisdiction. The combined global and US state catalogue now contains 1,738 records.
All 25 maintained global jurisdictions, including US federal sources, received a cursory official-source review for material developments after the August 13 cutoff. No material change required a catalogue record update. The global review cutoff advances to August 21 while the 533-record global catalogue remains unchanged.
All 63 tracked California measures were checked against California Legislative Information. Thirty-four records changed after the August 13 cutoff. Twenty-nine reflected floor, calendar, concurrence, or amendment activity, while five were held in committee or under submission. No tracked California measure was newly enacted or vetoed in this window. A cursory review of other active state legislatures found no comparable post-cutoff development.
The Global Radar now contains 533 official-source records across 25 jurisdictions. This release adds South Korea, Switzerland, Spain, Saudi Arabia and South Africa, with a current country baseline for each. The combined global and US state catalogue now contains 1,735 records. South Africa's April 2026 draft policy is retained as a withdrawn historical record and is not presented as current policy or binding law.
The shared catalogue now contains 1,716 measures. Global coverage expands to 20 jurisdictions with Colombia, Indonesia, and the United Arab Emirates. The state refresh verified 229 tracked records in six parser-supported states, producing 20 post-cutoff changes and 14 prior-release corrections. Records from dynamic or protected pages were not rewritten without independent verification.
The previous public cutoff used by both radars. The August 11 release preserves this boundary so post-cutoff state movements and corrections can be distinguished.
